Modern Slavery Statement 2024/25

Paisley Training and Consultancy recognises that modern slavery and human trafficking are human rights violations and a cause for concern. Modern slavery impacts the lives of many people, particularly people that are vulnerable.

As a provider of care training and consultancy services to the adult social care sector, Paisley Training and Consultancy has a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.

We will ensure that in the provision of our services we will not directly or indirectly facilitate modern slavery or human trafficking.

Policies

We have a Modern Slavery Policy and a Safeguarding Adults Policy in place. The Policies provide guidance on identifying modern slavery and the processes to follow if we identify or suspect modern slavery is occurring.

Training

Both business partners are qualified trainers and deliver safeguarding adults training to care managers.

The business partners keep their own safeguarding knowledge up to date by attending annual refresher training.

All new employees of Paisley Training and Consultancy are required to complete safeguarding training as part of their induction and on annual basis. This includes work experience students and apprentices.

Suppliers

We will undertake due diligence checks on our prospective suppliers and will not engage suppliers that do not share our zero tolerance approach to modern slavery.

If we become aware that a supplier is involved in modern slavery or human trafficking we will terminate the business relationship with immediate effect.

Customers

Our customers are providers of Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated care services. As such we would expect that our customers have processes in place relating to identifying and reporting modern slavery and human trafficking.

If we become aware that a customer is involved in modern slavery or human trafficking we will terminate the business relationship with immediate effect.

Looking Forward

We will remain vigilant to the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking and will report all concerns in accordance with our Modern Slavery Policy and our Safeguarding Adults Policy.

We will continue to review and develop our processes for identifying and managing modern slavery.

We will issue an updated Modern Slavery Statement on an annual basis.
